Partners say one of the top barriers to successfully achieving business goals is new competitors in the market, according to research from IPED Channelytics. Standing out in the channel means proving your solutions are the best. Accolades from the right partner can help you back up that claim.
Solution providers need vendors who will not only help them solve problems for their existing clients but also give them the recognition they need to attract new customers. Todd Garrigues, director of partner sales programs at Intel Corporation, describes the ideal partner for his company, “We’re looking for partners who can innovate. We’re also looking for partners that are creating unique solutions for how they go to market, how they educate their customers or how they educate their sales force.”
Intel’s Partner Of The Year Awards recognize U.S. partners who’ve made exceptional innovations using Intel products within the last year. General manager of U.S. channel scale and partners for Intel Corporation, Jason Kimrey, explains the awards are coveted in the IT industry, “I think it’s recognition by what I believe is the greatest technology company in the world. I think that we see our partners use that as a calling card to win new business.”
Every year, dozens of partners are nominated for the Intel Partner Of The Year Awards, but only a couple dozen are awarded at the Intel Partner Connect event each spring.
The awards are for innovation in five categories:
- Client Computing
- Data Center
- Vertical Solutions
“The awards, I think, were a great reflection of the growing breadth of Intel’s ecosystem,” Kimrey says. “It’s not just the hardware builders anymore. It’s everyone from hardware to software to services companies.”
The winning partners include Network Allies, LLC for its NUC solution; Nutanix for its work in hybrid cloud; Rave Computer for its innovation in Optane Storage; Insight for IoT solutions and Presidio Networked Solutions for its technical training.
