The new Intel NUC 12 Pro Mini PC for Zoom Rooms is a fully configured mini PC that comes with Zoom Rooms pre-installed. A Zoom Rooms service subscription is still required.
That makes it easy for partners like you to leverage Zoom-certified peripherals, build, brand and get to market quickly with a powerful collaboration system.
If you’re unfamiliar with Zoom Rooms, it’s a recent enhancement to the basic Zoom meetings you probably already know. Zoom Rooms is an IT-managed resource that runs as a dedicated meeting environment with a single consistent interface.
This software-based room system also provides an integrated experience for audio conferencing, wireless screen sharing, and video conferencing. Zoom Rooms can be used for either room-only attendees or remote attendees joining from another room, whether from their desktops or mobile devices.
Each Zoom Room needs a macOS or Windows computer that runs the Zoom Rooms software, and an iPad, Android, or Windows 10 tablet that runs the Zoom Rooms app. Additional equipment can include TV displays, speakers, cameras, microphones, and an iPad that runs the Zoom Rooms Scheduling Display.
Devices can be enrolled in Zoom Device Management to provide additional remote management from the Zoom web portal.
Ready to roll
Intel’s latest NUC configuration, the Intel NUC 12 Pro Mini PC for Zoom Rooms, is Zoom Rooms-certified and ready to go out of the box. It comes with both Zoom Room software and a pre-installed copy of Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2021 LTSC Value preconfigured for Zoom Rooms.
These mini PCs also support the latest Zoom Rooms solutions for enhanced collaboration. This includes Smart Gallery, an AI-powered feature that creates individual video feeds of meeting participants.
Smart Gallery automatically adapts as people enter and leave a meeting room. This frees meeting leaders from having to reposition their camera or monitor the room settings.
Under the hood
Inside these Intel NUC 12 Pro devices, you’ll find some of the latest Intel technology. That includes a 12th Gen Intel Core i5 processor with 12 cores (4 performance + 8 efficiency) and 16 threads.
That also includes Intel Iris Xe graphics, up to 16GB of dual-channel memory and 256GB of Gen4 NVMe SSD storage. Connectivity is provided via Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 (Gig+) and an Intel Ethernet (2.5 Gbps) port.
The new NUCs also include a pair of both HDMI 2.1 and Thunderbolt 4 ports; with the latter, you can easily attach up to 4 extended displays. Other connections include USB ports (both 2.0 and 3.2) and a stereo headset jack.
These Intel NUCs are also “green.” The chassis is made from up to 75% post-consumer recycled content. And the packaging is fully recyclable.
You and your customers can rest easy, knowing it’s all backed by Intel’s 3-year warranty. And you can benefit from Intel’s channel support for demand generation, market development funds, and go-to-market.
