For small and midsize tech providers, competing in the cloud isn’t easy. But now you can get valuable cloud-business help from some of the industry’s giants — Intel, AWS and TD SYNNEX — all at no cost.
As I’m sure you know, the cloud is increasingly where the action is. Late last year, market watcher IDC asked companies to list their top priorities for operational investments over the next 5 years. Respondents ranked cloud No. 1.
There’s lots of growth ahead, too. That same IDC poll found that fewer than 1 in 5 companies have moved more than half their operational data in the cloud. In other words, most companies still have a lot of work to do.
Wouldn’t you like them as your customers?
AWS Powered by Intel
To help you, TD SYNNEX, one of the industry’s largest distributors and solutions aggregators, has launched a program called AWS Powered by Intel.
If you’re unfamiliar with TD SYNNEX, it’s the result of the 2021 merger of two distributors, Tech Data and SYNNEX. The combined company has some 22,000 employees and works with more than 1,500 IT vendors. For its most recent fiscal year, TD SYNNEX reported revenue of $31.6 billion.
The new AWS Powered by Intel program is designed to help you help your customers accelerate and optimize their cloud journey. Join the program and you’ll learn how AWS Powered by Intel can help you unlock the full potential of the cloud.
You’ll leverage Intel's work to deliver new insights and understanding, letting you recommend the right cloud instance for your customer’s workload. In just four to six weeks, you can help create a simpler path to the cloud for your customers with AWS powered by Intel.
“We’re deepening our investment in the cloud,” says Shannon Warner, VP of cloud at TD SYNNEX. “We feel now is the time to seize the opportunity and create a 1 + 1 = 3 cloud partnership.”
Under the terms of the agreement, the two companies will dedicate staff to help cloud-implementing tech providers. They’ll also provide resources for marketing, sales, technical issues and project management.
The agreement also calls for AWS-specific enablement resources. These include tools, training and other resources.
The program also links with Intel Partner Alliance, Intel’s membership organization for tech providers of all kinds. Training credits you earn through Intel Partner Alliance can be applied to purchases you make with TD SYNNEX.
