Intel has just announced more details about the Intel Partner Alliance. This program has been designed to help you help your customers move, store and process data.
The new Intel Partner Alliance will unify partners into a single program. And if you’re already a member of the Intel Technology Provider program, you’ll be automatically transferred into the new program in the second half of 2020.
To help you further, Intel has also introduced two related experiences that are launching this year:
> Intel Partner University: Live now, it offers a variety of digital-training formats including live and on-demand trainings.
> Intel Solutions Marketplace: A place for you and your customers to collaborate and discover thousands of innovative offerings, it's coming in November.
Once the new Intel Partner Alliance launches, you and all other members will be aligned with one of eight roles:
> Authorized distributor: Buyers of products directly from Intel that then resell them to manufacturers, sellers and solutions providers.
> Manufacturer: Builders and sellers of systems and subsystems for OEMs.
> Seller: Resellers, retailers, OEMs and aggregators that build, sell and resell technology through the channel to end users.
> Solutions integrator: Consultants that connect and integrate business solutions for midsize and large organizations, working on either a national or global basis.
> ISV: Independent software vendors that develop, sell and support software products, both branded and non-branded.
> CSP: Cloud service providers who offer cloud-computing components, including software, infrastructure and platform (SaaS, IaaS and PaaS).
> FPGA design services: Designers that offer engineering services related to Intel FPGAs, including RTL design, IP optimization and board design.
> Guest/end user: Enterprises that are not Intel partners, but do set technology-adoption policies that affect the market.
Does your company qualify for more than one role? If so, then you’ll be able to apply for consideration in others.
New tiers, too
Members of the new Intel Partner Alliance will also qualify for one of three new tiers: member, gold or titanium.
You’ll also be able to unlock more value from what Intel is calling Specialty Benefits. For partners who qualify, these will offer help supplying complete solutions to customers.
These Specialty Benefits will be available in four areas: artificial intelligence (AI), cloud data center, enthusiast PC, and high performance computing (HPC) data center.
